A long, long, long time ago in a place far, far away….
Dave was a Wolf Cub in 1st Khormaksar, Aden, then was a Scout and Senior Scout in 17th Singapore, RAF Seletar, Singapore, earning both Queen Scout and Gold DofE Awards.
Back to Stafford, England and became a Cub Leader and Scout Leader with 12th Stafford (Berkswich).
A ‘gap’ in Scouting, and then returned as SAS Warden in Ashby-de-la-Zouch campsite at Willesley, becoming the ADC Scouts for the Ashby & Coalville District.
Four years ago joining Tern Valley District as ADC Scouts, Training Adviser and Nights Away Assessor, which I am thoroughly enjoying.
Long may it continue.
